About Matt Rowe

Matthew Rowe grew up in Melbourne, Victoria. Annual family holidays to the Gippsland Coast instilled a love for nature, particularly the many rock pools dotted along the coastline.

Matt's own sea-change to the Sunshine Coast occurred five years ago following a serious back injury. The change in scene and pace re-ignited his fascination with nature and led Matt to photography. Throughout the years of rehabilitation he honed his talent and love of landscape photography and has received much recognition.

Matt's passion and technical precision gave way to the many opportunities to become involved in unique and momentous occasions. His Wedding Photography is often fun and relaxed, yet offers a genuine reflection of a couple's special day.

Portraiture is available on location as Matt finds that people's personal relationships with places add depth and meaning to photographic and artistic works.

Nature's beauty remains Matt's motivation, "to be out at dawn to capture one of the Coast's ever-changing seascapes has become my true passion.... A moment of beauty is truly inspiring and makes the 4am starts worthwhile."
